ISLAMABAD – The primary culprit in the Noor Muqaddam murder case, Zahir Jaffer, has been found both physically and mentally competent by the Adiala prison officials.
Additional Sessions and Districts Judge Atta Rabbani presided over the murder trial of Noor Muqaddam. The accused, Zahir Jaffer, was carried in on a stretcher during the hearing. Abdul Sattar, the investigating officer, was cross-examined by Basharat Ullah, the counsel for Zakir Jaffer, the primary accused’s father.
According to police records, the investigation officer answered lawyer Basharat Ullah’s inquiries and also rehashed the whole scenario during the questioning. The medical report of the accused Zahir Jaffer was delivered in court by the Adiala prison officials after the interview. The accused has been certified perfectly fit by the doctor at the jail’s hospital, according to the medical reports.
The accused had also been medically tested multiple times, according to the report. He was also evaluated by a psychiatrist and found to be in good health. The lawsuit has been postponed until January 24.
