Islamabad: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has ordered a ban on all TV channels from broadcasting speeches, interviews and public addresses by people delivering hate speeches against the country on national television. Nawaz Sharif has been declared an absconder and offender after his recent hate speeches and serious ciritism on Pakistan Government and military forces of the country.
He has made video call on September 20 using harsh language and comments against the present government. He has also been openly threatening of public deaths and opposition parties long marches. Pakistan government asked for British government support to bring back Nawaz Sharif from London. Nawaz Sharif and his family is allegedly involved in corruption and money laundering cases since the Panama Papers case.
On September 20, all the anti-government opposition parties launched a drive under the banner of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). They did hate speeches against the incompetency of PTI government demanding the resignation of PM Imran Khan.
At the PDM forum, Pakistan’s ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif alleged that there was “a state above the state in the country”. He said the reason behind the party was not PM Imran Khan but those who brought him into power. His hate speech was giving “anti-state” vibes felt by the government.
Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said
“It is unfortunate that a three-time prime minister of the country is making anti-state speeches”.
He is openly making criticising remarks on state institutions to divert attention from his corruption cases. He wants to protect his assets made through corruption. Pakistan’s official ministers asked the opposition leaders to be responsible towards their speeches and put the country’s interests first and avoid from defaming national institutions.

PM Khan informed in an interview that opposition’s announcement to launch a protest against the government does not threaten him at all. He said “I am under no pressure to give them NRO”. He assured that the current civil-military relations in Pakistan are the “best in history”. All institutions are working separately but they are united in their goal of Pakistan’s prosperity.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is worried that Nawaz Sharif is “playing a dangerous game… once played by [former MQM leader] Altaf Hussain”.
PM said his allegations towards Pakistan’s military and judiciary, depicts Nawaz’s “support from India”. He is declaring anti-state movements and his hate speeches for the government would not offer any relief or National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to the opposition leader seeking sympathy against his corruption charges.
