Best Pakistani Dramas 2022 – 2023
We were introduced to so many new people and shows in 2022- 2023. The popularity of Pakistani dramas continues to grow in other parts of the world. This year saw the debut of a large number of new dramas and actors, and their audiences have been quick to embrace them all. Although this may be the case, there has been a significant paradigm shift in the Pakistani entertainment industry, and dramas are finally moving away from the traditional love story format. Writers and producers in the modern era are interested in highlighting a variety of social issues through the use of various story elements. The audience has developed a strong attachment to the more recent dramas that have been broadcast. The purpose of it is to draw attention to unrecognized aspects of contemporary society, which is the driving force behind it.
1. Sang e Mah
Although Atif Aslam involvement in this drama series is unquestionably a plus, the story of Sang e Mah involves much more than just famous people. The play focuses on tribal families and the sacrifices they make for their traditions in contemporary Pakistan. The story continues up after the events of Sang e Mar Mar, which came to a close in 2017. Both programs were essential in bringing to light the undesirable aspects of our culture that we frequently ignore.

2. Paristan

3. Dil Awaiz
The story is somewhat like the folks we watched growing up on Star Plus and focuses on the terrible suffering of the leading character – Dil Awaiz. As the story develops, Dilawaiz emerges across Sikander and falls in love with him. However, Sikander likes her step-sister and selects to marry her.
Stepsister, Fariya, runs away with her boyfriend, leaving Dilawaiz to soothe the pride of both families by marrying a man who never wanted her. The story is full of chin instants and makes one reconsider our civilization and the continues to face it hides.
4. Sinf-e-Aahan
Next Level Entertainment and Six Sigma Plus, in conjunction with Inter-Services Public Relations, were the production companies that were responsible for Sinf-e-Aahan (ISPR). The drama serial was directed by Nadeem Baig, and Umera Ahmed was the one who came up with the story for it. The plot centres on seven girls who come from a variety of different backgrounds, and how their lives change after they join the army.
From the 27th of November 2021 until the 7th of May 2022, a total of 24 episodes of the drama serial were broadcast. Produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment, the drama serial was released as a Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr special with 33 episodes airing from April 3 to May 5, 2022.
6. Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi
Shamsher, a businessman, goes to every extreme to gain Mehak’s affection, a girl from a middle-class family, in the drama series. Kaisi Meri Khudgarzi, directed by Ahmed Bhatti and written by Radain Shah, is regarded as one of the greatest family drama serials for 2022. Furthermore, A-list performers such as Danish Taimoor and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem play key parts in the drama. Laiba Khan, Laila Wasti, Noman Aijaz, Atiqa Odho, Hammad Shoaib, Zainab Qayyum, Shahood Alvi, Tipu Shareef, Emad Butt, and Shehzeen Rahat are other cast members.
7. Mere Humsafar

The drama series, produced by Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Naseeb under the name of Six Sigma Plus, was written by Saira Raza and directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, and starred Farhan Saeed, Hania Aamir, Saba Hameed, Waseem Abbas, Tara Mahmood, Aly Khan, Omer Shahzad, and Zoya Nasir.
8. Aye Musht-e-Khaak
The storyline of the drama ‘Aye Musht-e-Khaak’ centres around Mustajab, a young guy who rejects faith and religion but falls in love with Dua, a spiritual and pious woman.
However, Dua refuses to reciprocate the same sentiments, which agitates Mustajab, who is not used to denial, and his desire for Dua quickly escalates into obsession.
Feroze Khan, Sana Javed, Asad Siddiqui, Shabbir Jan, Shahood Alvi, Iffat Omar, Sadaf Ahsan, Ayesha Gul, Shajeer Uddin, Namrah Shahid, Danial Afzal, Shiza, Hira Umer, Ellie Zaid, and Shah Jee are among the cast members.
9. Bakhtawar
Bakhtawar is a drama series in which Yumna Zaidi plays the lead. The play is based on the true story of Farheen Ishtiaq, who dressed up as a male and worked to make ends meet.

The plot of Fraud centres around the characters Maya and Tabraiz, who steal her valuables and abandon her at the railway station when they are on their honeymoon.
