The expected kit design for Pakistan’s upcoming ODI World Cup campaign has been claimed stolen and unfairly used without crediting the artist.
The excitement surrounding the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup is reaching its peak, but it’s not without its fair share of controversies. Recent reports have caused quite a stir on social media regarding Pakistan’s anticipated kit design for the tournament. A sports journalist has revealed what’s rumored to be the kit design, and its unique and attention-grabbing aesthetics have certainly captured people’s interest.
However, a cloud of doubt has been cast over this excitement by a Twitter user who claims that the design wasn’t an original creation by the sports page. Instead, it’s alleged that the design was taken from his friend. This friend supposedly came up with the concept last year for a kit design competition organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The user asserts that the design was used without giving proper credit or recognition to his friend’s creative efforts.
The design was not shared, it was stolen by @ChangeofPace414 or who ever created it. This design/concept was originally created by my friend @GraphicsGhous_ during last year PCB's concept kit competition. @_FaridKhan do you research before posting. https://t.co/k8zOTd10Zk

If these statements turn out to be accurate, and the PCB proceeds to utilize an identical design for the World Cup outfit, there’s a possibility that the PCB might encounter significant criticism for potentially adopting an artist’s work without appropriately acknowledging their contribution.
