PCB reminded Babar Azam about the guidelines of using National High-Performance Centre facilities.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took notice of Babar Azam’s brother Safeer Azam using National High-Performance Centre (NHPC)’s nets area against the rule.
In a video shared by Safeer on Twitter, he can be seen batting in NHPC’s nets against national pacer Shahnawaz Dahani under the supervision of his brother and Pakistan’s all-format captain Babar.

The video sparked outrage on social media with people including former Test cricketer Tanveer Ahmed questioning PCB’s policy over this matter.
While reacting to the controversy, PCB reminded Babar about the guidelines of using NHPC facilities. According to PCB’s policy, only Pakistan players, first class players or junior cricketers can use the facilities and staff at the NHPC with permission of the authorities.
In response, Babar accepted his mistake and assured to be careful next time.
It is pertinent to mention here that Safeer often shares his batting videos but he is yet to make an impact at some higher level.
