PSL 7: Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam is hopeful about the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7 in 2022.
Babar is happy with Sharjeel Khan’s fitness development and the next encounter against the Lahore Qalandars.
“Sharjeel Khan is a game changer and I always like starting with him because he doesn’t let the other batters get pressured. But as a professional, fitness is key, and Sharjeel Khan has to improve his fitness to play for Pakistan, which he is doing,” Babar Azam remarked today in a virtual news conference.

Haris Rauf is also progressing and must be played with caution. Shaheen Shah Afridi has shown his skill. Shaheen is a hard worker who gives his all, so we must play focused against him.
“I thank God for his blessings. I have been given a lot of responsibility, and responsibility breeds work.
“The teammates are accustomed to playing league cricket and are quick to gel and adapt to the league cricket demands.
“I will continue to focus on my talents. You can’t rest because expectations exist, but so do ups and downs.
I have had terrific contacts with Peter Moores, one of the top coaches in county cricket.
Cricket is not enjoyable without fans, but we have to observe Covid guidelines, so the crowd is limited. But I know our supporters will cheer us on from wherever they are.
“It’s excellent that PCB has leased a whole hotel for the PSL, and I hope this edition goes well.
“I like hitting in every game, not just one, and I prepare for every game.
“Mohammad Amir has won us numerous games and helped us out of difficult circumstances.
“I like our mix, we have six hitters and all-rounders. “My squad has batting all-rounders, therefore I am happy,” Babar Azam said.
