PSL 7: England batter Jason Roy has joined his club Quetta Gladiators before their high-voltage encounter against Lahore Qalandars in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh season 2022 at National Stadium Karachi, as Quetta Gladiators look to remain in contention for the playoffs.
The Gladiators are presently in the fifth position in the points standings, having lost three games in the campaign so far. They only managed to win once, against the struggling Karachi Kings.
The Quetta Gladiators announced Roy’s availability on social media as the swashbuckling batter took part in the training session.

The addition of Jason Roy to Quetta’s squad will surely benefit the whole locker room. The English batsman may get his side off to a fast start and provide the foundation for the middle-order batters to tee off in the last few overs.
Roy recently participated in a series against the West Indies, and despite some inconsistent performances, he finished the series strongly. After scoring six in the first T20I of the series, he struck a fantastic 45. In the third T20I, he scored 19 runs and then smashed a half-century in the fourth.
