The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selected a 19-player reserve pool for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh edition 2022, which will be contested in Karachi and Lahore from January 27 to February 27.
As part of the Managed Event Environment, fifteen players will check into the team hotel on Friday, January 21. The other four participants will stay outside of the Managed Event Environment and will be called upon in the event of an emergency.

Outside of the Managed Event Environment, there are the following players:

- Omair bin Yousuf (Sindh)

- Zahid Mahmood (Sindh)
The franchisees generated the first list of players, which was then reviewed by Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim, who made minor changes by removing Test players who are set to attend a training camp starting next week in preparation for the series against Australia.
