PSL 7: Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan says the coronavirus has posed numerous challenges in previous years, but he trusts the Pakistan Cricket Board’s regulations and believes the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh season in 2022 would go well.
“Yes, because of the obstacles created by a coronavirus, it is quite tough these days,” Shadab Khan stated. “There were a lot of covid instances there, but they still went on with their tournament, and hopefully the way PCB has created the regulations will keep them safe.” Inshallah, the PSL will go off without a hitch.
When questioned about the squad roster, Shadab said a few adjustments had been made and that Islamabad will win the title.

“We attempted to keep the same lineup, but you can only keep eight players,” says the coach. Although there have been some adjustments, we have attempted to maintain the same mix. We have the same team, and we performed exceptionally well last season, Alhamdulillah.
“Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the last phase, but we will endeavor to reach the final and win the prize.”
According to United’s captain, playing against the same players might be challenging since they are already familiar with each other’s abilities and limits.
“I don’t believe it is tough; as experts, we must adapt.” We play together on the Pakistani team, but when we practice, we practice against each other.
“And we play against each other in our domestic matches, so it’s not tough.” It’s difficult, though, since we play against one other and the hitters have previously encountered me in the nets.”
