The former cricketer was overjoyed to learn that children under the age of 12 would be allowed access to the stadium since these cricket events are aimed at children. “I’m delighted the NCOC gave them permission to enter the stadium.”
The PCB president expressed his hope that the Lahore leg matches would be as entertaining as the Karachi leg matches but said that the authorities had devised a master plan for cricket fans during PSL 7, but that it had been unable to be executed owing to COVID-related limitations.
The NCOC said on Monday that fans who are 50 percent fully vaccinated would be permitted into the Gaddafi Stadium until February 15, and 100 percent fully vaccinated persons will be admitted beginning February 16.
The unbeaten Multan Sultans will take against the Peshawar Zalmi in the Lahore leg matches, which will be played exclusively under the lights of the Gaddafi Stadium.
“If the pitches are not acceptable, the level of cricket will not be good,” he remarked, referring to the pitch conditions.
He added that he directly saw today’s pitch preparation and that he would try his best to create excellent pitches.
“Only quality pitches can turn us into a great squad,” Ramiz Raja said.
