Shahid Khan Afridi, a former Pakistani all-rounder, has advised the Pakistan Super Tournament (PSL) clubs on the seventh season of the league, according to Jang News.
Shahid Khan Afridi told the media that every team should now have 20 to 22 players.
Even if a player becomes infected with COVID-19 during the competition, according to Afridi, another player should be introduced to the squad in his stead, and the tournament will not be affected.
“COVID-19 is a reality that the whole world is heading toward, and we should as well,” he said.
He further said that if COVID-19 upsets the PSL, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should have a backup plan in place. “There should be a backup plan, which is critical.”
In the seventh season of the PSL, Afridi will play for the Quetta Gladiators.
