Huawei introduced the Mate 40 line of flagship smartphones, which includes the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro Plus, back in October 2022. According to current rumors, the firm has not yet introduced a replacement for this item, although it is anticipated to do so shortly.
In September, the Huawei Mate 50 series will make its debut. The informant also states that the series will include the Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS.
The devices’ in-house Kirin 9000S chipset—presumably a modified version of the Kirin 9000 chip—would most likely be used to power them and will only support a 4G connection.

Renders of the rear panel of the forthcoming Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro have also been provided by a trustworthy Chinese source Digital Chat Station. The graphic shows that the smartphone will have curved corners and a curved rear panel. The spherical camera module looks to have a sensor, two flash units, and three camera lenses.
Moving on to the front of the device, leaked images of the tempered glass for the Mate 50 series show that the standard model will have a punch-hole cutout in the middle, while the Mate 50 Pro and probably the Mate 50 RS will have an iPhone-like cutout, which suggests it will most likely have face ID unlock functionality.
In September, the smartphone will debut in China, and it is anticipated that it will also go on sale everywhere else. Even then, it is unknown if the Kirin 9000 SoC or the Snapdragon 888 4G would power the device’s worldwide edition.
