OnePlus is scheduled to release the Nord CE 3 smartphone this year, and we’ve seen some official-looking renderings in addition to some stats. Today’s photographs, on the other hand, validate the design and show the handset from every aspect, proving the legitimacy of the first renderings.
Specifications of OnePlus Nord CE 3
The back has a shiny, chrome-like appearance, while the side frame has a matte green accent with the power button on the right. The latter also functions as a fingerprint reader, which isn’t unexpected considering that prior speculations point to a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This seems to be a step down from the Nord CE 2, which included an OLED screen.
In any case, the camera rings on the rear have been verified, as has the centered punch-hole for the front-facing camera and a thicker bottom bezel overall.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 live photos fully expose the phone’s appearance.
According to initial reports, the smartphone would ship with a Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 67W rapid charging. The chipset will also be a step down from the Nord CE 2, which boasted a more competent Dimensity 900 with 4K video recording capabilities.
We’re intrigued about the pricing, but we’ll likely find out more in July, when the Nord CE 3 is expected to appear.
