Oppo debuted the Reno 8 series. The gadgets will now be available in starting next week (July 18). The worldwide variants, will have two models: the Oppo Reno 8 and the Oppo Reno 8 Pro. Oppo has officially teased the specs of both the Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro ahead of the launch. So, let us investigate.
Oppo has revealed that the Pro model would include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will sport a sleek unibody design that is just 7.34mm thick when the camera bump is removed.
The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek 8100-Max processor, which will provide up to a 12% boost in performance and a 50% improvement in power efficiency over last year’s Reno 7 Pro Dimensity 1200-Max SoC. Aside from that, the gadget will include the MariSilicon X NPU, 4K Night video capabilities, and a graphite-sheet cooling system.
The vanilla Reno 8 variant, on the other hand, has been verified to be equipped with a Dimensity 1300 chipset. This SoC outperforms the Dimensity 900 from last year’s Reno 7 by up to 40% in performance and 20% in power efficiency. Aside from that, the gadget will include a VC liquid cooling system, two premier Sony camera sensors, and a thin design similar to the Pro model.
The Reno 8 series will also include a 4500mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC rapid charging, according to a teaser.
