The Red Magic 8 Pro series of high-end gaming cellphones were introduced in China last month. The Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro+ are the two devices in the series. The Red Magic 8 Pro has now been introduced to the world market, according to the firm.
The device’s official teaser says that 65W fast charging will be available on the Red Magic 8 Pro worldwide model. Recall that the same smartphone supports 80W fast charging in its Chinese version. The battery’s capacity will remain at 6,000mAh, however. We’ll have to wait and see whether the company decided to adjust any additional characteristics for the international market.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, the Red Magic 8 Pro is already available in China. It has up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM.
It has a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphones also come with ultra-linear twin stereo speakers that handle 96 kHz lossless audio, 48 ms low latency, and Snapdragon sound.
The device’s triple camera arrangement on the rear consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a megapixel macro sensor. The front of the device has a 16-megapixel selfie camera hidden behind the display.
The large 6,000mAh battery pack within the Red Magic 8 Pro enables 80W quick charging and, according to the manufacturer, may last for an impressive 47 hours. Red Magic OS 6.0, a custom skin based on Android 13 OS, is pre-installed on the device.
