Xiaomi spin-off brand Redmi has unveiled its newest premium Redmi K60 series after a series of teases. The range consists of the standard Redmi K60 and the K60 Pro. The company also announced the Redmi K60E, the series’ entry-level device. It includes a Dimensity 8200 chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, and much more. Redmi K60E Specifications and Design
The Redmi K60E is aesthetically distinct from the previous two versions in the series. It has a rectangular camera module with three triangularly oriented cameras. The principal sensor seems to be the largest of the three. The front surface of the gadget has a central cutout that houses the selfie camera.
The device’s specifications include a 6.67-inch Samsung OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, a colour depth of 8 bits, and a maximum brightness of 1200nit. The mobile device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the Dimensity 8200 SoC powers the K60E.
The chipset contains one CPU core at 3.1 GHz, three at 3.0 GHz for performance, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. It debuted with the iQOO Neo 7 SE. Up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage are matched with the CPU.
The device boasts a 48MP primary sensor with OIS capability, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera for photography. There is a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The Redmi K60E has a 5,500mAh battery and supports 67W quick charging.
It comes preinstalled with Android 13 and MIUI 14 is added on top. The smartphone is also equipped with dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, an infrared blaster, and a USB Type-C connector.
