Xiaomi 13 Pro
The Xiaomi 13 series will launch tomorrow, and today the firm disclosed major camera upgrades for the Pro model. According to the published teasers, the primary camera will include a 1″ Sony IMX989 sensor with 50 megapixels, while the telephoto camera will have a 75mm equivalent with a 3x magnification.
In a 20-second animation, Xiaomi demonstrated how the new “floating” telephoto lens would function – it moves the elements closer to achieve infinite focus and snap photos of far things; when it needs to capture close-ups (up to 10 centimeters), the elements move away. Leica’s expertise was used to design the camera, and the company’s logo appears once again on the back of the phone.
Xiaomi 13 Pro Features
The Xiaomi 13 Pro also featured in a leaked hands-on video, exposing the camera design and some specifications such as MIUI 14 on top of Android 13, an 8/128 GB RAM option, and a Qualcomm processor with a 3.19 GHz CPU, which is presumably a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
